Recent Advancements in surface modification for Micro and optoelectronics | |||
Co-organized with FBK Chair: Massimo BERSANI, FBK |
|||
Well-defined surface modifications are crucial to numerous advanced applications especially for microelectronic and optoelectronics devices in particular. Surface modification defines the surface energy and how materials interact with a surface including important processes such as wetting, adhesion, molecular binding, electronic, optical and mechanical properties. Micro and optoelectronic devices require increasingly precise and new surface engineering for both function and processes such as thin film deposition. |
