Scale-up of Nanomaterials for Energy - Part 2 |
|||||||||
Co-organized with the European Innovation Council (EIC) | |||||||||
The symposiumScale-up of nanomaterials for Energy is aiming at highlighting the role of nanomaterials scale-up, in particular for Energy applications, within the innovation process which, starting from know-how, moving to lab-scale materials, demonstration-scale materials and pilot- scale materials, may finally end up with industrial-scale nanomaterials towards a specific application on the market. Scale-up of nanomaterials for Energy is here discussed along different perspectives, ranging from Research to Industry, crossing EU Programmes and taking into account nanosafety and regulation issues. A round table will engage the workshop lecturers to identify the main drivers which trigger scale-up activities, including the unique and enabling aspects of nanotechnology and the deployment of a well-defined value chain which links academic know- how to technology and business according to a well-defined business model. |
