At Quantum Design Microscopy we exploit the possibilities to combine different high-resolution microscopes and tools, in order to obtain information faster and more accurately than when using these methods separately.

In close cooperation with our mother company Quantum Design Int., we develop new instruments that enable this correlative analysis.

The AFSEM® is our solution to easily combine two of the most powerful microscopy methods– scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and atomic force microscopy (AFM) – to gain completely new insights into the micro- and nano-world.

Especially the capability to integrate the AFM system directly inside the high-vacuum environment of the SEM enables a completely new way to perform your research and your experiments.
